At Mellem, we love above all to build living spaces where beauty meets sustainability, and it starts with projects deeply committed to a more responsible future. Mellem Manoir-des-Trembles meets all the criteria for obtaining its LEED certification. Let's chat about it!
LEED, what is it? It's the international symbol of excellence in sustainable construction. No less! (It's also the acronym for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for the curious ones)
Overseen in our corner of the world by the Canada Green Building Council, the certification establishes strict requirements regarding:
- The location of the building, proximity, and diversity of available transportation types.
- Efficient management of water, energy, materials, and resources.
- Attention to the quality of the indoor environment.
- Even the implementation of innovative services, such as an app for sharing among future residents (hello Partage Club).
That's a lot of boxes we wanted to tick at Mellem Manoir-des-Trembles!
You're starting to know us – these are all the aspects that make up the DNA of Mellem. It's engraved in our manifesto: Welcome to the era of tenants, an era where beauty can also do good. Both for the individual and the community. But also for our planet.
At the forefront of energy efficiency for unparalleled comfort of its occupants, Mellem Manoir-des-Trembles is located in the heart of urban life and all its services. With its building embracing a large landscaped and green courtyard in the heart of a peaceful neighborhood, the project has something to make the entire neighborhood jealous.
Mellem Manoir-des-Trembles clearly positions itself as an active player in the energy transition. There are plenty of bike parking spaces waiting to explore the local bike paths, charging stations for electric vehicles, great accessibility to public transportation, and various amenities just steps away. Not to mention well-thought-out common spaces for all needs, from remote work to sports training and neighborly relaxation – it's all there.
High-performance ventilation system, eco-friendly air exchangers, compost chutes on every floor, green and white roofs, and underground parking to significantly reduce heat islands in the summer – the list of green flags is getting quite long. With so many criteria gathered under one roof, all that's missing is you to complete the picture!
