We love a smooth-running project, and so far, everything is on track! The heritage building is nearly ready to welcome its first occupants, with inspections about to begin to ensure everything is flawless before the grand opening in May. The new building is also progressing quickly—units are already complete up to the 6th floor, and initial checks are underway on the 3rd. Deliveries will be staggered until July 1st to ensure that everything is perfect-perfect-perfect for the arrival of new tenants.
As for the common areas, things are taking shape! By the official opening, the coworking spaces and lounge areas will already be accessible, although a few finishing touches may still be in progress. But rest assured—nothing that will stop residents from settling in and enjoying their new home in this green oasis tucked away from Sherbrooke Street.
A construction site is all about concrete and well-thought-out structures, but here, it’s also about atmosphere and comfort. Hydro-Québec is now connected, meaning electricity is flowing through the walls, setting the stage for soft lighting and bustling kitchens. To give you an idea of the project’s scale:
- Over 20,000 m² of floor space ready to be occupied
- 10,115 cubic meters of poured concrete ensuring ultimate durability
- 1,974 windows installed to flood every space with natural light
- A peak of 200 workers on-site at key construction stages
With all the walls standing, it’s time to bring the living spaces to life! The rooftop terrace of Building B, where residents will soon be sipping their morning coffee in the sun, is in its final stages. To ensure a safe and enjoyable space, special attention is being given to wind-resistant installations—because we want it to last! Some minor finishing touches may continue after move-in, but by May, the terrace will be ready to enjoy.
Over at Building C, final exterior adjustments are underway: railings, metal finishes, and the landscaped park are all progressing rapidly. And speaking of greenery, 63 mature trees have been preserved to create a true nature retreat for residents—a commitment we were determined to keep!
This project is also a story of expertise and collaboration. Behind every well-thought-out detail are partners bringing their skills to the table. Provencher Roy designed the architecture, Blanchette Architectes imagined the interiors, and Nadeau Foresterie Urbaine ensured nature takes its rightful place in the development. Not to mention Maître Carré and TGTA, the co-developers ensuring everything stays on the right track.
